Sarah Fear, Project Manager of the Environmental Futures and Big Data Impact Lab & Plymouth’s Marine e-charging Living Lab (MeLL) will join this showcase of the £23m Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition winners.
Sarah will outline the plans for MeLL to deliver clean, smart, maritime technologies. MeLL, announced in September 2021, will make Plymouth the first city in the UK to install a network of shore-side charging facilities for its expanding fleet of electric maritime vessels. It will develop a network of charging facilities around Plymouth Sound, offering multiple, flexible sites and responding to the Maritime 2050 route map for maritime net zero.
This event is hosted in the International Maritime Hub at COP26, led by Maritimie UK and City of Glasgow College.
