The Chinese Society (CSSA) supported by the University of Plymouth invite you to join them in celebrating their new year and the Year of the Dog.
Taking place on Lantern Festival Day, this is an evening of traditional song, dance and entertainment all performed by students of the University.
Celebrated on the 15th day of the first Chinese lunar month, the Lantern Festival traditionally marks the end of the Chinese New Year Spring Festival period. It’s a day people will go out to look at the moon, send up flying lanterns and enjoy time together with family and friends.
The event is free and open to all to attend but booking is essential via the above link.
Please note that is an evening of entertainment only with no refreshments available.
