The University celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the library on 6 June 2016.
Opened in 1976, the Charles Seale-Hayne Library is at the heart of the University, and has supported generations of students and staff. The service has continued to innovate, adapting to changing institutional requirements and the impact of technological developments.
This 40 year old milestone was a great opportunity to celebrate the contribution that the library makes to the work of the University, and showcase some of our services.
This exciting celebration started with Show & Tell sessions from 10:30. Tours, talks, demonstrations and displays ran all day and a birthday cake was cut at 12:30! See the programme above for further information.
