Cathy is the founder-director of the leading short story powerhouse, The Word Factory, and Carrie represents fiction and non-fiction writers, including Simon Van Booy, Paul McVeigh, Allen Frances and Giovanni Frazzetto.

Part of the Plymouth Festival of Words

Building on the success of the city’s Plymouth International Book Festival, the Plymouth Festival of Words takes place between Wednesday 3- Sunday 5 May 2017, celebrating literature and ‘words’ through a diverse range of art forms. In addition to opening Plymouth History Month, Plymouth Festival of Words includes rich programme of writers, poets, film-makers and performance artists to Plymouth as well as the Society for Storytelling's annual gathering.

The Plymouth Festival of Words has been organised through a partnership between Literature Works, the literature development agency for the South West, Peninsula Arts at Plymouth University, Plymouth Museums Galleries Archives, Wonderzoo and is supported by Arts Council England.
