The One Stop Ideas Shop provides a forum for individuals to talk through their inventions/business ideas in a confidential setting, receive face to face expert guidance to enable to them to understand how to protect them and explore any potential for business opportunity.

The confidential guidance is provided by experts including PATLIB UK, University of Plymouth, NJ Akers & Co Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, Thompson Jenner, Ashfords, Stephens Scown and Francis Clark.

An attendee at a recent session said: "It's the best £25 I have spent in a very long time - thank you very much."

The One Stop Ideas Shop is located on the main University campus on the 2nd Floor of the Marine Building.

The cost of the One Stop Ideas Shop is £25. The one-hour sessions are free of charge to current students and the unemployed, but a £25 refundable deposit is required to secure those bookings. Evidence is required to prove that you are a student or unemployed.

NB: booking forms and payments must be submitted at least seven days ahead of the One Stop Ideas Shop session to enable the panel to conduct any background research and check for conflicts of interest.
