The Rehabilitation Research Group and the Institute of Health and Community are pleased to invite you to their October lecture by Sam Glasser, a Plymouth University PhD student.
Sam graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Plymouth University in 2002 and continued to work the field of electronics for seven years in the UK and Australia. During this time he developed a desire to work within healthcare and began studying podiatry in 2009, graduating in 2012 and taking up a full-time postgraduate researcher's post shortly after with Plymouth University.
This has enabled him to use his knowledge of podiatry and engineering together in his research working toward a PhD investigating Balance Dysfunction in people with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy.
