Save event
Calling all Ocean Explorers! This half term, join the crew and embark on a voyage to save our oceans. Learn all about amazing whales; use puppetry to explore the seas they live in, and work together to create a sea shanty to protect them.
All hands on deck! This lively group drama workshop all about the power of imagination is aimed at children aged 7 to 12 years. The workshop will be led by professional puppeteer and theatre maker Edie Edmundson (Shakespeare's Globe, Bristol Old Vic, the Puppet Barge).
Make sure you allow time to visit our Ocean exhibition in The Levinsky Gallery before or after the workshop session.
Date: Tuesday 24 October 2023
Time: 11:00–12:45 and 14:00–15:45
Venue: Dance studio, ground floor, Roland Levinsky Building
Ticket information: £4 children, all children must be accompanied by an adult
Age Restriction: 7-12
Sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear about future seasons programming – when we hope Edie will return to The Arts Institute for additional workshops, bringing The Whale’s Tale full show.
