In 1830’s London, famous Italian violinist and composer Niccolò Paganini woos his host's daughter, thereby angering the man who succeeded in bringing him to England.
Classical-pop violinist David Garrett brings an electrifying musical authenticity to the lead role as the virtuoso who had such prodigious musical talent, he was believed to have struck a deal with the devil.

Music and Film series

Music has long been used in film to help create drama, including creation of mood, suspense, and portrayal of characters. However, each of the films in this series focuses on music as a central theme, as a unifying biographical element, as a motivating force. These films have been chosen to complement our Autumn concerts – Romantic Piano and Virtuoso Violin.
