Authentic assessment is an approach and means of engaging students in real-world, meaningful, powerful and relevant tasks.

Research and experience shows that students are more motivated by working on authentic activities, with the potential for this having real impact on raising attainment and enhancing employability.

This workshop will introduce you to the principles of authentic assessment and highlight examples of good practice from across disciplines.
