Save event

This event is a one day meeting for postgraduate research students from the University of Plymouth's Faculty of Health and Human Sciences and Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and their supervisors.

Disseminating your work is an integral part of becoming a researcher. The event is organised especially for all our postgraduate researchers to have the opportunity to practice these skills with your fellow students in a supportive environment. Whether you're still in the early design phase or finalising your data for write-up, please submit an abstract and join us for this excellent event.

You will hear from keynote guest speakers imparting current and relevant research issues. Topics will cover current and developing themes across the spectrum of our health focused research from basic sciences through to clinical and health services research.

For those of you who have only been registered with us for a short time, a very special welcome is offered. You may be feeling nervous at the prospect of presenting your research ideas at this early stage of your career but please rest assured that your more experienced peers in the audience have been there too. They will be delighted to offer their support and constructive feedback. So, please just ask!

Key dates

  • The deadline to submit an abstract is Thursday 31 January 2019.
  • Please register your place by Friday 8 March 2019.
