This two-day course is for psychologists and health professionals who work with individuals with long-term health conditions and who wish to provide greater support and understanding to their clients. 

The course provides cognitive approaches that will enhance practice in supporting individuals in making behaviour change and managing their long-term conditions more effectively. 

The focus of the course is on increasing self-awareness, improving communication skills, and developing an understanding of principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and emotional intelligence. 

Please note: this course is not designed to provide CBT therapy skills.
