The Meditation Society would like to invite University of Plymouth students to this event.
There are lots of way to understand meditation. One very simple way is to see meditation as ‘rest’ – and many of us these days are struggling to find time for that. In this session we can explore together and practice ‘lazy meditation’ – and both the opportunities and challenges of bringing this into our stressful lives. You might find this short description of simple meditation useful.
The session is led by Duncan Moss, Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the University of Plymouth. He has explored the creative possibilities of meditation for many years, and is currently Buddhist faith advisor for the Chaplaincy.
This event is open to University students who are non members of the Meditation Society. Light refreshments will be provided.
As there is limited seating (the maximum seating capacity is 15 people), please register your free place via the above link as soon as possible.
