Organisers of the 20th MBA Postgraduate Conference are pleased to announce this conference is hosted where it started, in Plymouth! To celebrate the conference ‘coming home’, this year’s conference will be uniquely combined with the PlyMSEF conference.
PlyMSEF is only usually available to postgraduates and early career researchers associated with Plymouth-based institutes, so this combined event is a very exciting and unique opportunity for those outside of Plymouth to gain an insight into the outstanding research being undertaken in Britain’s Ocean City.
Postgraduate students and early career researchers from the UK and abroad are invited to attend/participate in oral presentations, poster sessions and listen to guest speakers. Opportunities to socialise and network will be available throughout. Lectures and talks will be held online so those unable to attend in person can participate.
Visit the conference website for full details and to register or email MBAPG2024@outlook.com for queries.
This event is sponsored by the Marine Biological Association, PlyMSEF, The Challenger Society for Marine Science and SOTEAG. The conference is hosted by the Marine Biological Association, Plymouth Marine Laboratory and the University of Plymouth.

About PlyMSEF

The Plymouth Marine Science & Education Foundation (PlyMSEF) is a charitable body established to provide funds to enable students and early career scientists to attend scientific conferences and symposia or to attend advanced training courses or workshops in the marine disciplines. It also provides funds to promote marine science and related subjects such as public lectures and seminars in Plymouth and an annual research student conference.
PlyMSEF aims to gather together Plymouth’s early career marine scientists for an informative and inspiring day of presentations, networking and state-of-the-art ocean-related science.
