Antony James - Swimming
Course: BSc (Hons) Psychology
Antony was the first student to receive a 150 scholarship from Plymouth University. In his swimming career he has competed at the Commonwealth Games bringing home a silver medal and managed to qualify and represented GB at the London 2012 Olympics in the 100m butterfly.
Since graduating he has started a business called AquaElite which aims to increase participation in every aspect of swimming.
Mindaugas Sadauskas - Swimming
Lithuanian born Mindaugas holds seven national level titles and has represented Lithuania at many international competitions including both European and World Championships.
In 2012 he competed at the London Olympics where he qualified in the men's 100m freestyle.
Christopher Lee - Swimming
Course: BA (Hons) Architecture
Watching the Olympics in Beijing and London inspired Christopher to become a swimmer. Since then he has reached the final for the 50m backstroke in his first English National Championship and now qualified for the English National Championships for in both the 50m and 100m backstroke.
In addition to his studies, Christopher’s aim is to qualify for the European Championships and ultimately the Olympics. He states his secret to success is “hard work, determination, having fun and refusing to lose”.
