£350,000 available as scholarships for international applicants to health and human sciences courses

The Faculty of Health and Human Sciences is proud to be able to offer scholarships to international students. 

In total, the Faculty has £350,000 available for international scholarship opportunities across a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including programmes within following subject areas: Nursing, Psychology, Podiatry, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Optometry, Social Work and Paramedics.

Undergraduate

Health professions courses fee waiver for applicants from Kuwait and Lebanon

A £1500 fee waiver will be awarded to international applicants for their first year fees. We will consider entrants in 2018. To be considered, you must meet the entry requirements for the course you are applying.

The scholarship is available for the following courses:

Fee waiver for Kuwait and Lebanon applicants to BSc (Hons) Podiatry

A £3,750 fee waiver will be awarded to international applicants for each years fees (three).

Psychology courses scholarship for international applicants

A £4000 fee waiver will be awarded to applicants paying international fees who meet the entry requirements, for the first year of their studies. 

There are 10 scholarships available and they will be awarded on a first come first served basis to those accepted onto one of the following courses.

Postgraduate

Scholarship for the School of Health Professions programmes

A £1500 fee waiver will be awarded to international applicants who exceed the entry requirements for the programmes listed below. You need to have a BSc (Hons) degree at 2:1 (or equivalent) OR an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of at least 7.0 (6.5 minimum in each element).

Scholarship for international applicants to the MSc Advanced Professional Practice (Nursing and Midwifery) programme

A £3000 fee waiver will be awarded to international applicants, who exceed the entry requirements for this programme, for the first year of their studies. You need to have a BSc (Hons) degree at 2:1 (or equivalent) OR an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of at least 7.0 (6.5 minimum in each element).


Scholarship for international applicants to the MSc Psychological Research Methods programme

A £5000 fee waiver will be awarded to international applicants who meet the entry requirements for this programme.

There are 15 scholarships available and they will be awarded on a first come first served basis to those accepted onto the programme.

Scholarship for international applicants to MA Social Work

A £1500 fee waiver will be awarded to international applicants who exceed the entry requirements for this programme.

You need to have a BSc (Hons) degree at 2:1 (or equivalent) OR an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of at least 7.5 (6.5 minimum in each element).

Scholarship for international applicants to MSc Occupational Health (Pre-Registration)

A £1500 fee waiver will be awarded to international applicants who exceed the entry requirements for this programme.

You need to have a first class BSc (Hons) degree (or equivalent) OR an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of at least 7.5 (6.5 minimum in each element).

Scholarship for MSc Human Nutrition international applicants

A £3000 fee waiver will be awarded to international applicants who exceed the entry requirements for this programme.

A £1500 fee waiver will awarded to international applicants who exceed the entry requirements for this programme.
