If you haven’t applied to the University of Plymouth, you can pre-register your interest to receive priority treatment from our dedicated team of advisers on A level results day (Thursday 15 August 2019).

When is Clearing?

Friday 5 July 2019
Clearing opens for those who have already had exam results or hold no offers.

Thursday 15 August 2019
Clearing officially opens on results day.

Friday 20 September 2019
Clearing closes.

Who can apply through Clearing?

You will be able to apply through Clearing if you:

  • haven’t met the conditions of your offers
  • haven’t made a UCAS application this year
  • haven’t received any offers (or none that you wanted to accept).

If you’re unsure whether a new academic direction is for you, or you don’t quite achieve the grades you expect, we provide a wide range of low-entry-tariff degrees with a foundation year that offer a strong basis to help students to perform to their full potential a during a four-year degree.

Adjustment also offers you the chance to find an alternative course or place to study if you do better than you expected in your exams. You will be eligible for Adjustment if you meet and exceed the conditions of your conditional firm choice offer.

Halls of residence, either University-managed or from accredited private providers, are guaranteed when you find your place through Clearing at the University of Plymouth.
