New UCAS tariff explained

What does this mean for applicants?

The number used by UCAS to show the total value of their qualifications is changing for those students applying to University from September 2016 to start in September 2017 and beyond.

UCAS has a handy calculator to help you work out the number of tariff points your qualifications equal, and here at Plymouth we have also put together a comprehensive glossary to illustrate the meaning of these new tariff points.

Where can I find the new tariff score for a course?

Tariff scores are shown on Plymouth University course web pages in a key facts section, as illustrated in this example. They are also shown in our prospectuses against each course page.
