Applicant Day FAQs

Q. Do I need to register when I arrive?

A. Yes, please register at the registration point in the Roland Levinsky Building. Upon registration you will receive a full printed copy of the programme which will detail where subject activities are taking place.

Our Student Ambassadors will be able to guide you to your venue, or visit our location page for maps and travel information.

Q. Is there an itinerary?

A. You will receive your printed programme and schedule of the day when you check in at registration in the morning.

You will also receive a copy of the programme a week before via email to help plan your day.

Q. What should I do if I miss the Applicant Day?

A. If you miss your applicant day, you can choose one of the remaining Applicant Days. If these dates are not suitable or have already taken place you can visit us at one of our Undergraduate Open Days.

Q. I am running late for my Applicant Day.  What should I do?

A. Please report to the Roland Levinsky Building registration desk on your arrival and you will be directed to the correct venue in order to join the programme.

Q. Can I book disabled parking?

A. Blue badge parking spaces can be reserved by calling +44 1752 58 58 58. or emailing studentrecruitment@plymouth.ac.uk.

Spaces will be available in the Babbage car park and you will be directed to these when you arrive on campus.

Q. Can I bring guests with me?

A. We know how important your friends and family are in your applicant journey. Therefore, we are pleased to extend our applicant day invitation to them also. Please ensure you inform us of how many guests you will be bringing when you complete the online booking form; the link is provided on your invitation.

Q. Can you confirm whether I've registered?

A. You will receive a booking confirmation via email to confirm that a place has been secured for you and your guests after you complete your booking. 

If you have yet to receive this confirmation, please contact us on +44 1752 58 58 58.

Q. What if I have applied for more than one course at Plymouth University?

A: You are welcome to attend more than one Applicant Day. Most courses will be present at each Applicant Day so you can choose which talks you attend and tailor the day to suit your needs. Information about which courses will be present on which day is detailed on the web booking page.
