After you’ve booked your applicant day

Arrival and registration

Please register at the registration point in the Roland Levinsky Building. Registration will be open from 9:00 but our Student Ambassadors will be available all day to sign you in if you decide to arrive slightly later.

Plan your day

Upon registration you will receive a full printed copy of the programme which will detail where subject activities are taking place. You will also receive a copy of the programme a week before via email to help plan your day, which finishes at 16:30.

What should I do if I miss the applicant day?

Dont worry if you miss your applicant day – you can still visit one of the remaining applicant days and book another place through our online booking form.

If these dates are not suitable or have already taken place you can visit us at one of our undergraduate open days.

Parking and travel information

There are plenty of car parks in the city centre within walking distance of the University.

There are also various park and ride locations on the outskirts of the city that can be used as an alternative to the central car parks.

For useful maps and travel resources, discover our information and advice on getting here.

Reserving disabled parking

Blue badge parking spaces can be reserved by calling +44(0)1752 58 58 58 or emailing studentrecruitment@plymouth.ac.uk.

Spaces will be available in the Babbage car park and you will be directed to these when you arrive on campus.

I am running late for my applicant day – what should I do?

Please report to the Roland Levinsky Building registration desk on your arrival and we will sign you in and give you your programme for the day. If your subject activities have already started, then please see a member of the team on the Help and Information desk who will be able to tell you where the subject activities are.

Can I bring guests with me?

We know how important your friends and family are in your applicant journey. Therefore, we are pleased to extend our applicant day invitation to them also. Please ensure you inform us of how many guests you will be bringing when you complete the online booking form; the link is provided on your invitation.

If you would like to amend the number of guests that will be attending with you, please contact us on +44(0)1752 58 58 58 or by emailing studentrecruitment@plymouth.ac.uk.

Can you confirm whether I've registered?

You will receive a booking confirmation via email to confirm that a place has been secured for you and your guests after you complete your booking.

If you have yet to receive this confirmation, please contact us on +44(0)1752 58 58 58.

What if I have applied for more than one course at the University of Plymouth?

You are welcome to attend more than one applicant day. Most courses will be present at each applicant day so you can choose which talks you attend and tailor the day to suit your needs. Information about which courses will be present on which day is detailed on the web booking page.

If you are not able to attend another applicant day, the courses are running drop-in sessions at the end of the scheduled subject activities so you can go and find out more and get your course specific questions answered for your other subject.

Applicant day survey competition

Following our 2019 applicant days we sent out surveys to all students and parents/guests to gain valuable feedback on the events. To say thank you for taking the time to complete the surveys we enter all participants into a prize draw to win an Amazon or Waterstones voucher (one per student and parent/guest).
