Simon Perry

SIMON PERRY is Audit Chair and Non-Executive Director of Richmond Holdings (Jersey) Ltd the UK’s largest holiday park operator and a member of the Advisory Board of Arowana International Ltd an Australian listed private equity vehicle. 

Simon retired from EY (formerly Ernst & Young LLP) a leading global professional services firm, in 2017. Whilst with EY Simon held several Board roles including as EY’s first Global Head of Private Equity, EY’s Head of Transaction Services for Northern Europe, Middle East, India and Africa and as Managing Partner (CEO of EY’s UK Transaction Advisory Services division). His most recent role with EY was as the Global Coordinating Partner for three global listed consumer business: easyJet plc, Tesco PLC and Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc, as well as the CVC Capital Partners, the largest European headquartered global private equity fund.

Simon has advised a wide range of businesses covering retail, transport, manufacturing and real estate as well as having significant corporate finance/IPO and Private Equity experience. He has a keen interest in the impact of analytics, e-commerce and technology on business models and is an advocate of diversity in business.

Simon has also been Chair of the Governors of a Devon primary school, a member of the Advisory Board of the London Business School PE Institute and a co-sponsor of the Cranfield Business Growth Programme.

Simon is an economics graduate from Coventry University and a chartered accountant.
