Millie Green

Millie Green is the Vice-President of Education of the University of Plymouth Student’s Union (UPSU). She was elected into the role based on her plans to ensure learning at the University is more inclusive for all students, for the students to be more aware of how they can make their opinions heard and for more available study space on campus. Overall, her role will include representing students and the UPSU at a number of meetings with the main aim to improve students’ academic experience.

Prior to the election, Millie studied, a BSc (Hons) in Conservation Biology at the University and she is working towards completing a Master’s degree in the future. During her time as a student she was elected as a Course Representative and a School Representative for the School of Biological and Marine Sciences where she gained passion and enthusiasm for student representation and initiated changes for students within the school. Millie also became a project leader within the Student-Led Volunteering department at UPSU which involved leading a group of students to undertake conservation activities; helping build her confidence and leadership skills.
