Faculty of Arts and Humanities

As part of its commitment to the 3D3 Centre for Doctoral Training, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Plymouth University is currently offering a series of funded studentships open to competitive application. 3D3 is an Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded partnership between Falmouth University, Plymouth University and the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE Bristol). Its aim is to train a new generation of interdisciplinary practitioner-researchers.

We are open to applications from researchers interested in exploring the possibilities and challenges presented by rapidly evolving technologies working in the inter-related fields of digital design, digital media and digital arts (including music and performance). All projects must be practice-led in nature, and should open up debates around the interface between digital processes and traditional methods.

Enquiries in the first instance should be addressed to Dr Lee Miller, Co-director of the 3D3 Consortium. More information can be found at http://3d3research.co.uk/.

Deadline for application: 5pm, Monday 20 February 2017.
