Exam timetables

Timetable publication

You'll find the dates and times of the exams you're required to take during the main (January and May) exam periods on the official University timetables. Please make sure you check both the provisional and final examination timetables when they're published.
The provisional timetable is usually available to view in November for the January exams, with the final version being published later in November. For the May exams the provisional timetable is likely to be published in February. We'll post the exact dates here once they are available.
Partnerships students
If you're a Partnerships student you should check the times of your exams with your administrative office.
Postgraduate students
If you're a postgraduate student or on certain Faculty of Health programmes, you may have exams on other dates. These will also be indicated on the Examination Timetables community.

Modified assessment provision (MAP) timetable – received by email
Emails will be sent to the University accounts of students with MAPs. Please ensure your account is not full and check it regularly.
There will be one email for each exam you are sitting. These emails provide the definitive record of each of your exams. They will include the date, time and venue of the exam, plus whatever provision is in place for you. This process replaces the requirement to collect your timetable.
It is important that you print off these emails for your own reference.
Students with modified assessment provisions must sit their exams at the designated MAP venue as indicated on the email. DO NOT attend your exam at the venue allocated to the main group of students as there will not be a seat for you.
If your modified assessment provision is for your own room (OR) and you are unable to attend an exam it is your responsibility to advise the Examinations Timetabling Office – not your School or Faculty Office – as soon as possible.
If for any reason you are unable to attend an exam, it is very important you inform the exam scheduler as soon as possible so that the invigilator can be stood down examinations.scheduling@plymouth.ac.uk
Please note that if you are not in your own room you do not need to inform the Examinations Timetabling Office that you are unable to attend an exam.
