- Would you like to help us design and improve our services?
- Got some great idea that you think would improve careers and employability in the University?
- Want to earn a £10 Amazon voucher every time you attend?
We want to hear your opinions on employability, thoughts and ideas on our service and events, to influence and inform what we will do next.
The Careers & Employability Service takes the views of its students very seriously and we know how powerful the student voice can be in shaping a service that delivers excellence for its students.
Over the next academic year, we will be operating a Student Focus Group to give you, our students, the opportunity to shape the future of the Careers & Employability Service.
Your opinion is important to us.
By joining the Careers & Employability Student Focus Group sessions, you can really make a difference to how our service is shaped and at the same time, strengthen your employability skills.
What better than being able to give a potential employer an example of how you used your student experience to shape the delivery of a key student service? Even better, you can use the time spent on the focus group towards your Plymouth Award.
There will be six sessions across the year and for your valuable input, we are not only offering the chance for you to strengthen key skills, but we will also offer you a £10 Amazon voucher for each session attended. All your input will be celebrated on our celebration event on Tuesday 7 March 2017.
Which students can attend?
Any student! Our Student Focus Groups will ideally contain students from all years, and from a range of courses. If you would like to be part of the student focus group but cannot travel to the Roland Levinsky building then email Emily Packer to arrange a Skype or Skype Messenger discussion.
