Group Mentoring for Black students
Welcome to Group Mentoring for Black students.
We want to ensure that all of our students have equal opportunities when it comes to navigating and becoming successful in the graduate job market.
Group Mentoring for Black students is specifically designed for students from all Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds to develop their employability skills and inspire self-confidence when searching, applying and interviewing for jobs.
Across 4 group sessions, students will be mentored on specific themes which may include; creativity, public speaking, self-promotion, leadership and people management, career progression and start-ups.

You will become more confident in articulating your career goals by networking and having open discussions with your peers. You will also gain valuable insight into the world of work from someone who has become successful in their career and who has shared lived experiences.

Benefits for mentors
We are actively seeking professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds to mentor students in a group setting to help them fulfil their potential. Our mentors will not only gain a sense of value and satisfaction by shaping student outcomes, they will develop their own leadership and coaching skills as well as getting to meet and hear opinions from, future members of the workforce.
