Training

We want to promote an environment of inclusivity at the University of Plymouth by helping to increase your levels of confidence and competence when supporting your students.

You can attend mental health first aid and mental health awareness training run by Disability Services and Student Wellbeing to build your knowledge and gain certificates of training to add to your continuing professional development (CPD). These can be booked through the Employee Self Service (ESS).

Disability Services also offers a range of workshops to in relation to supporting individuals with:

  • visual impairments
  • deaf and hearing impairment
  • physical impairments
  • autistic spectrum conditions (Asperger's)
  • dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties.
