Accommodation for nursing students
We have a range of accommodation in halls of residence for nursing students to suit all budgets. You will be living with students from different courses which will help you to widen your friendship group in your first year.
Who can apply for a nursing contract in halls?
We have specific contracts for nursing students when applying for halls of residence due to the nature of your course placements. These contracts apply to the following courses:-
- BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult)
- BSc (Hons) Nursing (Child Health)
- BSc (Hons) Nursing (Mental Health)
- BSc (Hon) Pre-Registration Midwifery
What type of contract will I be offered?
We are aware that nursing students are on placements in the second semester (potentially away from the university) we therefore offer our nursing students a semester only contract which runs from September - January. If you stay after 28 January you will be offered a new contract for another semester to remain in your room.
Please note this reduces the halls available for selection to Radnor, Robbins, Pilgrim, Gilwell, Francis Drake and Mary Newman as these are the only halls with one semester contracts.
Can I stay in my room after January?
If you wish to stay in your halls accommodation after January we can offer you a new contract for another full semester (please check the individual dates for you specific hall licence).
What are my options for private accommodation?
