The Faculty of Science and Engineering invite you to attend a very special Welcome Party in the Graduation Marquee on Plymouth Hoe:

Wednesday 18 September 2019

The Welcome Party is your opportunity to meet informally with other students new to the Faculty of Science and Engineering, as well as some current students and academic staff.

Additionally, the evening includes a complimentary welcome drink, nibbles, entertainment and a raffle for all attendees with a £100 of Amazon vouchers to be won on the night.

As an invited student, you'll be issued with an entry wristband specifically colour coordinated to the evening you should attend.

Where do I collect my wristband?

Wristbands will be distributed to all eligible students during enrolment.

What do I do if I do not have a wristband?

If you do not have a wristband but are a stage 1 student who has received an invitation to the event, you can collect a wristband at the Graduation Marquee at the start of your faculty's party.

Which party do I attend?

Please ensure that you attend the correct party, this will be the only party you will be permitted to attend.

Is there car parking?

There is no allocated parking on the marquee site; there is however parking around, and close to the Hoe.

Can I invite a friend that is not on my course?

Only new students, who are joining one of the schools listed above, are entitled to attend the party on their respective evening. This is not a +1 event.

*Arrive at the Graduation Marquee on Plymouth Hoe for 19.15–19.30, or meet on top of the Students' Union at 18.45 to be accompanied to the venue.

Please note that this event is invite only, no additional guests will be allowed entry to the venue.
