The Faculty of Science and Engineering invite you to attend a very special welcome party in the Graduation Marquee on Plymouth Hoe:

The welcome party is your opportunity to meet informally with other students new to the Faculty of Science and Engineering, as well as some current students and your academic staff.

Additionally, the evening includes a complimentary welcome drink, nibbles, entertainment and a raffle for all attendees with a GoPro to be won on the night.

*Please arrive at the Graduation Marquee on Plymouth Hoe for 7.15 - 7.30pm, or meet on top of the Student Union at 6.45pm to be accompanied to the venue. We've made a walking map from main campus to the venue if you decide you'd rather walk there.

As an invited student, you'll be issued with an entry wristband specifically colour coordinated to the evening you should attend.  

Where do I collect my wristband?

Wristbands will be distributed to all eligible students in your induction lectures during induction week commencing 19 September.

What do I do if I do not have a wristband?

If you do not have a wristband but are a stage 1 student who has received an invitation to the event, you can collect a wristband at the Graduation marquee at the start of your faculty's party.

Which party do I attend?

Please ensure that you attend the correct party, this will be the only party you will be permitted to attend.

Is there car parking?

There is no allocated parking on the marquee site; there is however parking around, and close to the Hoe.

Can I invite a friend that is not on my course?

Only new students, who are joining one of the schools listed above, are entitled to attend the party on their respective evening. This is not a +1 event.
