11.00 – 11.15 Introduction to Student Wellbeing Services
Student Services will outline the support available to all students and where you need to go to access this support. The session will include information about:
- Disability Services
- Student Wellbeing Services (Counselling, Mental Health and Wellbeing)
- Learning Development incl SUM UP
- Care Leavers
- Peer Assisted Learning (PALS)
11.15 – 11.30 Careers Session – Lecture Theatre 2, Roland Levinsky Building

about how the Careers and Employability service can support you with this by;
opening your eyes to a wealth of graduate options, helping you to develop
skills and gain experience and providing you with all the practical help you
need, from stage 0 right the way through to postgraduate study (and for up to 3
years after you finish your programme!)

A short presentation from your subject librarian introducing you to the facilities and services of the University library.

19.00 – 21.45 Welcome Party - Graduation Marquee, Plymouth Hoe
The Welcome Party is your opportunity to meet informally with other students new to The Faculty of Science and Engineering as well as some current students and your academic staff.
Additionally, the evening includes a welcome drink, entertainment and the chance to win a £100 Amazon voucher

Today are the Graduation Ceremonies for students who have completed their degrees. Please feel free to visit the large marquees on the Hoe and see the venue where this takes place. The School of Engineering ceremony is at 10.00.

Any time between 09.00 – 16.00 University Card Collection - Room 015, Ground Floor, Smeaton Building
Your card is used for entry to the Library, some room entry, handing in coursework etc.
You must complete online enrolment and upload a photo prior to attending this session. You will need to bring identification with you to this session. The preferred form of identification is a valid current passport. Please refer to our University Card Collection web page for further details.
NB: If you already have a card i.e. because you were previously a student on another course or at a Partner College, you do not need to attend this session.
