I have an interest in the broader curriculum and learning partnerships; in particular the relationship potential between learning partnerships and progressive education.I consider this an area for development, evaluating our perceptions of 'school'. I have a current research interest in the integration of 'movement' and 'drawing' in supporting literacy development.
I intend (14-15) to work collaboratively with practitioners from Alternative schooling to develop a research project combining Steiner Waldorf & INPP (Institute of Neuro-Physiological Psychology) approaches to ‘Working with the Senses’ for children with SpLD. The particular emphases will be in the area of Drawing and Painting movement exercises.
I am a professional sculptor, exhibiting nationally and running workshops and courses locally.
