My role at University of Plymouth began in May 2021, as a Lecturer of Nursing for the Exeter School of Nursing. I have an interest in working with both Undergraduate Student Nurses and Trainee Nursing Associates.
I am a keen sports enthusiast, and regularly volunteer for my running club and local Parkrun. I enjoy running, cycling and swimming.

My post-registration nursing career began in forensic mental health services, which I have continuously revisited. I have experience across many NHS services, including inpatient, older adult and community services. My special interest includes working with services users with complex mental health needs who require long-term and secure services.
Additional to my work as an RMN holding caseloads and working with service users, I have spent time in corporate teams assisting with bed capacity and staffing logistics in a large mental health trust.
