Previously worked in Local Government (1987-2016). Mostly in Planning and Building Control as a Team Leader, where I gained my interest in Health and Safety. Following that I worked as Senior Administrator for Plymouth City Council's NVQ Centre and then moved into Health, Safety and Wellbeing. Working for such a large organisation provided me with a huge range of health and safety matters, covering a variety of different areas; Fleet and garage, street cleaning, waste collection, schools and academies, Catering, Events, Museum and library, Farming and agricultural, COSHH, stress and resilience, social care and promoting Wellbeing in the workplace.
