Dr Lauranne Fauvet
Research Fellow in Geo Data Science
School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences (Faculty of Science and Engineering)
As an Industrial Research Fellow within the Environmental Futures and Big Data, Lauranne is working with Devon SME to develop new products, services or processes using data science and safeguarding the environment.
Lauranne a strong knowledge of global development scenarios, remote sensing and computational modelling. Her professional experience includes expert skills in spatial data management and visualisation, as well as data analysis. She is an experienced programmer in C, C++ and Python and aims to use data science in a range of environmental applications. Her environmental skills include environmental legislations, water and energy management, climatic impact mitigation and sustainable engineering.
