Mr Kieran Milligan
Project Admin Assistant
School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences (Faculty of Science and Engineering)
I am a University of Plymouth graduate having studied a 2-year fast-track Business Management course. After finishing my A-levels in 2017, I went on to work for the events team at Plymouth Science Park, which is where my appetite to work in the business environment grew, leading me to take the decision to study at the University of Plymouth.
Once graduated, I undertook an Internship at the University which then transferred into a temporary contract as a Senior Support Administrator for SECAM (School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics.)
When my temporary contract ran out, I started my current role at the University as a Project Administrator for two transatlantic European funded projects.
The projects I am involved with are;
- ReConSoil (Reconstructed Soils from Waste) working as a marketing administrator: https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/research/institutes/sustainable-earth/the-recon-soil-project
- CyberMAR working as a quality administrator: https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/news/eu7million-project-aims-to-enhance-global-maritime-cyber-security
- Marine Business Technology Centre (MBTC) as a Project Support Officer: https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/research/esif-funded-projects/marine-business-tech
