Kevin Burrows is a lecturer in Accounting at the University of Plymouth. Before teaching forthe University, Kevin has worked in a range of businesses from small business start-ups to one of the largest big four accountancy firms. Over the years, Kevin has used his knowledge of Management & Financial Accounting to help develop several Residential Property Investment portfolios within the UK (since1999). Further to this Kevin is a first class honours graduate in Accounting &Finance, a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). 

At the beginning of 2014 the University of Plymouth asked Kevin to use his business knowledge to develop and launch a new undergraduate programme, 'Foundation Year Management, Government & Law'. The course has been a huge success and is now well established, giving roughly over 150 students per year, access to Higher Education and the University of Plymouth. 

Kevin is akeen continuously learner and has almost completed a MSc in real Estate at the University of Reading. Upon completion, Kevin hopes that his combined practical and academic understanding of accounting and Real Estate will serve as a solid platform for PhD studies, developing high impact research with the area of Accounitng and Real Estate Financialisation.
