Research interests

My research uses geochemical tools to understand Earth's past climate. At Plymouth, I'm investigating early Cretaceous climate changes using stable isotopes of marine macrofossils, specifically the "clumped isotope" paleothermometer in Valanginian belemnites. I'm also interested in climate and environmental signals in continental sediments, in particular ancient soils and lake sediments.
