* I initiated and developed a week-long field course for stage 2 students on the University's BSc environmental degree programmes. The field course has a strong focus on environmental sustainability, management and employability in the environment sector. I established links with 20 external partners, all of whom have remained active participants in the field course over the years. These external partners include: private companies such as Imerys, South West Water, Pell Frischman, SITA, Geevor Mine. Cornish Light and Power, CRP Regeneration Ltd. and United Utilities; national environmental organisations such as the Environment Agency, Natural England, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group and the National Trust; and local bodies including Cornwall County Council and the South West Regional Development Agency.
