Role

NB: I am mostly home-based, so please check my Outlook calendar to see when I am on site.  Email is the best way to reach me.

I joined the Development Office in May 2014, where I am mainly involved in day-to-day management and administration of the alumni and development database (Donor Strategy) and related functions, including training and support, implementing new developments, data improvement, etc.  I also undertake research and analysis to support the Alumni Relations, Fundraising and External Relations functions.

I first joined the university in June 2014 as a temporary Senior Project Administrator in the School of Geography, Earth & Environmental Sciences, liaising between the school and central university services on several projects.  My role also included updating content on the school websites and social media.  One of my main projects was to co-ordinate arrangements for an event celebrating 40 years of Environmental Science at Plymouth University, held on Plymouth Hoe in September 2013.

I then joined ASTI (Academic Support - Technology & Innovation) as a temporary Digital Learning Advocate, working for 6 months within the Business Faculty to support academic staff during implementation of the new Moodle-based virtual learning environment (VLE).  This included training and support in the features and functionality of a range of learning technologies.
