Specialist Critical Care Course 

 

I studied nursing at Plymouth University in 2003 and went on to obtain my degree in Health studies in 2008. I have always worked in Critical Care and specialising in Neurosurgical critical care, where I worked for 15 years, with 8 years as a Sister.

I have always had an active role in clinical education, mentoring and supervision and I am passionate about sharing knowledge, inspiring and getting the best from people. Spending many years supporting and improving new staff and student education with in the critical care department. 

I have worked as a Clinical Demonstrator for the School of Nursing and Midwifery and Lectured as a visiting specialist in 2008.  

Specialist interest in visual learning and engagement through the use of social media, physiology, biology and simulation based education.
