Marketing Services (External Relations)
As Campaign Development Officer, I co-ordinate the marketing and communications for a selection of high priority projects across the University through the institution’s strategic fundraising Campaign, Shape the Future.
Defined by the University’s mission to Transform Lives, the Campaign, through an integrated marketing and communications plan, mobilises and aligns support from the University’s current and prospective supporter base, including donors, friends, partners, alumni, stakeholders, staff and students. Through the Campaign we also leverage value and opportunities to grow student experience and employability, research, and the local, national and international profile of the University.
As part of the wider Development Office and External Relations Directorate, I work on the Plymouth Literature Project in conjunction with the University’s School of English and Creative Writing and external charity, Literature Works to promote Plymouth as a centre of excellence for literature.
In addition to Campaign, I also manage the marketing and communications for the University's public arts programme, Peninsula Arts.
