Research interests
My research will explore the historical, present and potential future coastlines of Plymouth and Cork focusing on their ecological functioning and services. As ecological connectivity is fundamental to healthy ecosystems, I will be exploring how and which nature-based solutions can rehabilitate functions lost to coastal hardening through the use of remote-sensing, habitat mapping and hydrodynamic modelling.
