Research interests

Her research has a strong focus on: 

- psichologcal modelling of soft skills underling role-playing simulation scenarios and
- development and design of educational and learning methodologies promoting effective users interaction with new technologies, with a particular interest in serious games; E-learning through role-play simulations for enanching soft skills. 

Elena has participated in the development of EU projects in collaboration with members of the Italian National Research Council, the University of Naples and University of Plymouth. These projects have had specific emphasis on users’ interaction through advanced e-learning platforms, the usability of such software for child & adult learners (education) & visually impaired people (accessibility), & soft skills training.

Her areas of interestes includes: pshycological modelling of soft skills underlining role-playing simulation scenarios; advanced e-learning platforms for soft skills training; design and implementation of role-playing simulation scenarios for enanching soft skills development; design and implementation of training and evaluation methodologies underpinning effective interaction with new technologies.
