Teaching interests
I co-ordinate SUM:UP providing numeracy, mathematics and statistics support for students across the University.
I lead the following modules:
Mathematics for Computing MATH054 (Foundation year)
Ordinary Differential Equations MATH2603 (Second-year degree)
Fluid Dynamics MATH3629 (Final-year degree)
I am also interested in computer algebra systems (Maple) and in computer-based assessment (Maple TA) as well as audience response 'clicker' systems and alternative assessment methods.
