Dr Chris Roberts

Dental surgeon with over 21 years experience across a wide range of dental disciplines including general dental practice, Military dental practice, secondary care, governance and education. 

Chris currently has a number of roles within the world of dentistry. With the University of Plymouth (UoP) he is an Associate Professor of Primary Care Dentistry, specialising in Fitness to Practice and Professionalism, He also acts as Clinical Supervisor/Facilitator to both BDS and DTH students. He has roles on a national level acting as a Fitness to Practice Panelist with the General Dental Council (GDC). He also has an interest in national governance frameworks and acts as a Specialist Dental Advisor to the Care Quality Commission (CQC). 

Prior to joining the team at UoP Chris was the Clinical Director for the Community Dental Service in Cornwall (now known as Smile Together Community Interest Company).
