Project title: Testing environment filters as mechanisms of ecosystem resilience to non-native species invasion

Research

Research interests

My research explores how environmental filtering may affect the successful invasion of non-native species, using the non-native Pacific oyster (Magallana gigas) as a model species. I am using a combination of dispersal modelling, manipulative experiments and lab techniques to explore three different filtering mechanisms, with a view to inform and shape policy and management of invasive species in the future.
