Biography
As Senior SDLE Technician I oversee the day to day running of Simulated Dental facilities in Plymouth, Exeter and Truro as well as organising the practical assessments within those areas. I am passionate about human rights and equality issues.
I am very creative and have a special interest in Digital Dentistry. I am proud to support the University with regards to 3D Printing and Haptic Dentistry and the University has supported me in creating my own dexterity tool for simulated dental teaching which can be utilized by both physical and haptic simulators.
I am Co-Chair of the LGBT+ Forum and a member of our Faculty Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. I'm currently doing the University Springboard Course as well as a course in International Womens Health and Human Rights through Stanford University.
Externally I am also an examiner for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses and support Women for Women International.
