Biography
Biography
I qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer in 2002, following completion of my degree at Birmingham City University (formally University of Central England). I decided quite early on in my career that I wanted to specialise in Plain film MSK reporting, following achievement of my post graduate certificate and diploma I have since been working as an advanced practitioner (Reporting Radiographer) with over 10 years of reporting experience.
In 2018, I began my role as an associate lecturer at the University of Plymouth on the undergraduate Diagnostic radiography programme, with a specialty in radiographic technique and image interpretation. I am module lead for the enquiry based learning (EBL) module in Year One.
In addition, I am currently working towards a post graduate certificate in Clinical education to support my teaching role.
I am originally from the West Midlands, moving down to the South West in 2012. My Interests include running, reading, arts & crafts and playing guitar. One of my best personal achievements was winning 'best newcomer' at my local running club in 2018.
