Mr Alex Moseley
Student Wellbeing Officer
Learning Support & Wellbeing (Student Services)
I work as a Student Wellbeing Officer, offering 1-2-1 and group interventions to develop strategies to maximise students' wellbeing and satisfaction with their lives. Much of my work focuses on anxiety management and management of low mood.
I also co-facilitate a weekly men's group for students at the university - a social space for deep conversation. I co-facilitate the Mood boost course, a 4-week programme based on cognitive behavioural therapy techniques, designed to support students with the techniques and skills to be able to manage their own emotions, and particularly low mood.
