The Worshipful Company of Water Conservators Award

We are pleased to announce a new award to the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Plymouth from London livery company the Worshipful Company of Water Conservators

The award is to support a top-class student enrolling on our masters courses in environmental consultancy or sustainable environmental management. The award is £4000 to cover half of the University fee, with the remaining £1000 available for dissertation expenses incurred by students beyond those normally covered by the school.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a placement and dissertation in the broad area of water science and management and may be required to attend or present at a Worshipful Company of Water Conservators event.

To be eligible for the award you must have a 1st class degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. environmental science, ecology, biology, geography) and a demonstrated interest in water science and management. If you wish to apply for the award you must submit a 500 word 'essay' on the 'Challenges for the water industry in the 21st century' alongside your application for the masters.
